(DC)- Senate Democrats are making a push once again to give D.C. statehood. Democrats would need the support of at least ten Republicans for DC to become a state unless the Senate ends the filibuster. With no filibuster, statehood could be accomplished with 50 votes plus a tie-breaking vote from Vice President Harris. President Biden has already indicated that he would sign a D.C. statehood bill.
