(Richmond)- Governor Northam plans to veto any Republican-drawn district maps that come his way. Legislators have been tasked with redrawing House of Delegates lines by federal judges, who say the current maps were unconstitutionally racially gerrymandered. The federal court has been requested by the governor to have an independent specialist draw the maps up. The redistricting must be complete by an October 30th deadline.
