(Spotsylvania)- A Spotsylvania man is in jail, charged with holding a woman and her two children captive for two years. Sheriff’s deputies went to the home in the 36-hundred block of Mine Road Saturday to conduct a welfare check after someone called because they hadn’t seen any family members in awhile. As they talked with 43-year old Kariem Ali Muhammad Moore, a woman and two children ran out the side door and were taken to safety by deputies. The 32-year old woman, who is not married to Moore, is in the hospital in serious condition. She has some health issues that have gone untreated.
