Ted Schubel has been heard doing news in the Fredericksburg area since 1983. Five years here. Over the years he's seen everything from council firing its city manager late at night, to a city water shortage, to a local police scandal, to the Stafford Wal Mart fight, to blowing up the Embrey Dam.
There have been six Virginia governors, four Fredericksburg mayors, three Spotsylvania Administrators, and two Stafford Administrators!
There's often not much prolonged sleep as his day at work typically begins at 3am. But he assures us he has a life! Ted and his wife Susan live in Spotsylvania with their four children. He does find time to cheer on Michigan sports teams from afar, being a Michigan native originally. We try not to hold this against him.
