Caroline County supervisors have enacted a Technology Zone Ordinance that will allow the county to to offer tax incentives to high tech firms. Economic Development Director Gary Wilson says he thinks the zones are a big deal. He says high tech companies looking to re-locate often look for localities with the ordinance. In Caroline, the zones are allowed in the primary and secondary growth zones. Wilson says he thinks the zones along with the county's low taxes will help him sell Caroline. Wilson says, "You can say with confidence that from Maine to Miami you aren't going to do better than Caroline County."
